“I've been interested in saving and investing since I was a teenager. In high school, I began my saving and investing journey with a traditional savings account. While in college, I learned about investing for retirement in the stock market.

Post-college, I joined the Marine Corps and established a retirement investing account. As a young Marine Corps Officer, I invested for retirement and started investing in the stock market outside my retirement account. After growing a solid base in the stock market, I began investing in real estate and bought my first home.

After getting married, my wife and I bought a second home when the military moved us to a new duty station. After another military move, we bought a third home and experienced the power of real estate investing to build our wealth faster than the stock market.

Towards the end of my Marine Corps career, we began investing in residential rental properties, followed by residential multifamily rental properties, and finally in commercial multifamily rental properties. Over the course of twenty years in the military, we read and listened to hundreds of books, spent tens of thousands of dollars on courses and mentoring programs, and developed, tested, and continually refined our Personal Finance and Wealth Building Systems. By the time I retired from the Marine Corps at 43 years old, we had built a multi-million dollar net worth for our young family.
